 Prayer for the sick

Pray in times of sickness!

“He sent out His word and healed them; He rescued them from the grave.”

(Psalm 107:20).

Times, when we or our loved ones are sick, require faith in God more than ever. But no matter how things seem bad for now, we must find time and strength to pray with faith in our hearts and assurance that the Word of God is faithful. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8. His divine healing is available to all and according to the Word of God, you have healed already. As in all cases also in the case of sickness, we must know the will of God. When we find His will then we have peace and understanding; wisdom and strength to endure.

When you are sick read His Word and trust He will do what He has promised. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5) and He is not a man who lies. (Numbers 23:19).

All those who are in Christ are new creatures and it is now not they who live, but Christ lives in them (2 Corinthians 5:17). Jesus was not sick. He healed all who come to Him. Sometimes during the sickness, it is good to think over and reassess the values of life; what we are doing, and what we are believing. It is absolutely not true that God wants anybody to be sick,  and He makes nobody be sick, but sometimes He speaks to us more deeply in times of sickness. Keep in mind that God wants only good for us and He is the ultimate divine Healer. In any case of sickness ask Him to make you whole, pray to Him alone, spend time with Him alone. He is just and will no delay.

Therefore before going to the doctor or taking any medicine we must kneel (if possible) before our Father and ask Him through Jesus to work all things for our good.

God speaks to us constantly, just because of our lack of knowledge we sometimes do not recognize it. But the best what we can do is to ask Him for leading the doctors; for guiding them in the right direction. And above all things, we must be thankful!

We, who have Christ as personal Saviour, Shepherd, Healer, etc (Galatians 2:20) do not live anymore only for ourselves. God lives in us and we are His holy temple.

In any case of sickness – pray, seek the truth, and believe in the ultimate doctor – Jesus. (John 8:32). Your Father in heaven care for you and He wants you to be well (Psalm 103; Jeremiah 33:6).

All of you are His sons and daughters. He Himself said He will be your Father (2 Corinthians 6:18). All His promises are YES in Jesus Messiah. (2 Corinthians 1:20).

Jesus healed all kinds of sicknesses and diseases (Mark 1:34). Always pray and stay in the healing, restoring, and guiding Word of God. (Proverbs 4:20:22; 3:5-8).

Your Father in heaven is saying

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10). Feel His love and tender care for you, believe in it, and rest in His promises.

My heavenly Father! I praise Your holy name and thank You for always hearing us and healing us. I pray may You heal (name) and lead her/him in all the truth. May You in Your unfailing love give her/him all the peace, wisdom, and understanding; may You release the pain and soften suffering. May You through Your incredible grace touch (name) all sick places and give strength to overcome weaknesses and increase the faith. I pray may you lead the doctors and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven where is no pain, suffering, and tears. For only You have the power, might, and glory. To You, we come in our times of need and ask to strengthen those who are sick. Your Word in Psalm 107:20 says that You send Your Word and heal those who are sick. Please, send Your Word and heal Your children. Thank you for loving us so much! Thank you for hearing always! Thank you for healing all who are sick! In the mighty name of Your Son Jesus, I pray. Amen.

"LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me" (Psalm 30:2).
